Off Grid Grind is owned and operated by Aaron Dorn and Audrey Mitchell. Aaron and Audrey met on Hilton head Island where they lived together for two years while they formulated and planned the next chapter of their lives, traveling the country in a van! Off Grid Grind is owned and operated by Aaron Dorn and Audrey Mitchell. Aaron and Audrey met on Hilton head Island where they lived together for two years while they formulated and planned the next chapter of their lives, traveling the country in a van! Aaron, being a former carpenter, built out their dream van/home and hit the road in 2025. 10 years prior Aaron used to sell antiques all over the northeast and knew there was a need for good coffee at these shows. That is where you will now find Off Grid Grind. Audrey used to run a cafe in Pittsburgh PA and Aaron would spend many countless hours at his city's local cafes in Utica NY.
Audrey grew up in Zaneville, OH. Attending Antioch college in Yellowsprings, OH.
Aaron grew up in Ilion, NY, where Remington Arms manufactoring was founded.

Our Story
Audrey has been in customer service and food and beverage for over two decades. She has extensive knowledge as barista, and bartender as well! This lady knows how to make a drink! Initially trained with Crimson Cup, she has also worked within and managed several locally owned cafés and restaurants. When she is off the grind, you will see her riding her bike, hiking or kayaking.

Being that our home is on wheels, we like to travel with the weather(and the shows). In February you can find us in Tuscon AZ, May through September in the New England area, October and March in Round Top TX.
